Friday 2nd October will see Eatzen restaurant team up with Irish Autism Action to host a very special charity dinner in order to raise much needed funds and raise awareness for IAA.

The star studded event will take place at the Eatzen restaurant in Ashbourne, which since its inception in 2002 has become a foodies’ destination not only for its high end Asian Chinese cuisine but also for its stylish smouldering interior exuding sophistication. The evening will be hosted by Keith Duffy and restaurant owner Tim Tang, who has put together a delectable feast of five courses for guests. The evening kicks off at 7.30pm with a champagne reception, then from 8.30pm guests will be treated to a stellar five course menu which will tickle the palate, all served with selected fine wines. Entertainment will be provided by Manila Strings and Cole Page.

Supporters of IAA and fans of Eatzen have already confirmed their attendance and include Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond, Laurence Kinlan, Boyzone bandmates Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch, Brian McFadden with many other names still to confirm.

Tickets for this special evening are €100 and can be bought by calling Eatzen on 01 835 2100. Tim Tang has generously provided all food for the evening to the charity for free. All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Irish Autism Action.

Irish Autism Action is an extremely influential organisation that was formed in 2001 in order to bring about positive changes to those affected by autism, having set up Solas, Ireland’s first National Diagnostic and Assessment Centre, based in Dublin. Likewise, in 2009, Irish Autism Action launched the National Autism Helpline which is operated specifically by parents. It is Ireland’s first autism helpline which provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support for people with an autistic spectrum disorder, their families and professionals.

Eatzen – meaning ‘healthy eating’ – combines a fresh and sophisticated approach to Asian cuisine with the richness of the classical imperial kitchen. With the first Eatzen opened by Tim Tang in 2002, who has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant business, the brand has become famous for its imaginative presentation and courteous service. Tim Tang’s passion about the food he serves is evident through the high quality ingredients he uses for his ‘Eatzen’, or ‘healthy eating’ authentic dishes.
