It was a Keith-filled week, as Ciaran tried one thing after another to get the wedding money back he'd gambled the previous Friday. (Leading to some really funny scenes!) All ideas failed until Peter agreed to lend him the £1,000 but by then it was too late... Michelle had found out & she wasn't happy. Their relationship hung in the balance but Michelle, not wanting to lose Ciaran, finally agreed to head back on the cruise ship with him. However, at the last minute, whilst leaving in a taxi, she changed her mind. Remaining in love; the couple bid an tearful goodbye to one another, with Michelle watching as Ciaran's taxi disappeared around the corner... An emotional end to Keith's time on the street!
But least there's always a chance he can come back!
It was a busy week as Ciaran & Michelle discovered they both wanted different things in life - he wanted to go back on the cruise ship; she wanted to stay put - but they both wanted to make the relationship work & find a compromise. However, Ciaran may well have put paid to that after losing the wedding money in a game of poker on Friday!
Contrary to rumours, Keith Duffy's not leaving Coronation Street - in fact he might even move to Manchester next year. Donal O'Donoghue meets an upbeat performer to talk about the loss of his friend Stephen, his future in Weatherfield and why family is so important.
"Do you like my haircut?" says Keith Duffy, bouncing about like a prizefighter. "You know I had long hair this morning." And now? Well, now the actor and singer is sporting a matinee look for his role as the rakish Teddy in Druid's production of Big Maggie. "I love Mad Men", says Duster, as his fellow Boyzone members know him. "I actually wanted one of their haircuts."
